Delta Capacity was founded in 2022 with the aim of developing a large portfolio of BESS projects across the Nordics, Southern and Central Europe. Our rapidly expanding team is comprised of passionate professionals with decades of practical experience across large infrastructure, renewable energy, energy trading, and software development.

PATRIK HES
Founder & CEO, Delta Capacity
Patrik Hes is the Founder and CEO of Delta Capacity. With over 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur and investor, he has developed more than 240 MW of onshore wind and solar PV across Central Europe and co-founded a €100 million private equity fund for energy investments. He established Delta Capacity in 2022 to advance the role of battery storage in Europe’s energy transition.
Lars Björklund
Executive Director, Delta Capacity AB
Lars Björklund has over 30 years of experience in real estate development and infrastructure projects across Europe and international markets. He has led major organisations and managed investment portfolios including €500 million in land banks and multi-billion-euro developments. Lars previously held senior roles at Skanska and Trafikverket.
Filip Hes
Managing Director, Delta Capacity GmbH
Filip Hes is the Managing Director of Delta Capacity GmbH. He previously led BMS development at XING Mobility, working on advanced battery systems including algorithms, thermal strategy, and AI-driven analytics. Filip is also co-founder of Delta Charge, a provider of battery infrastructure for electrified depots and industrial hubs, and brings experience in building and managing international software teams across energy and mobility sectors.
Magnus Agerström
Board Member
Magnus Agerström is an experienced executive and investor with a background in scaling technology-driven businesses. He brings expertise in corporate strategy, financing, and operational growth to Delta Capacity’s board.
Alf Engqvist
Advisory Board
Alf Engqvist is a senior energy executive with extensive experience across the European power sector. He provides strategic insight on energy transition, electrification, and infrastructure development.

Andres Doebel
International Business Development Director
Andres Doebel brings nearly a decade of experience in battery storage and e-mobility across Europe. Prior to joining Delta Capacity, he spent over four years at Sungrow, most recently as Head of ESS for the DACH region, driving large-scale storage growth. He previously led Sungrow’s EV Charging business in Europe. Andres specialises in market development, strategic partnerships, and commercial scaling within the energy transition sector.
